I have been a woodworker for about 25 years. I have tried many different blades in my table saw: high end (CMT/Forrest), low end. I do enough cutting to buy a couple of blades a year (I'm very picky about sharp). For the past 5 years I have settled on this blade. It's sharp, it holds an edge well, it's decent for ripping and very good for finish work. There are better blades for ripping and better blades for finish work but I very seldom switch this blade for a ripper or 80 tooth blade. I do have a 3 horse saw, which enables me to use this for ripping. If you have a less powerful saw, you will need a ripping blade. This blade also stays quite cool and has no chatter or wobble. For the price I have not found a better blade.
