I purchased this for use with my RotoZip RZ20. I replaced the flooring in two rooms and this added an additional height of 1\2" to the exisiting floor. I used it to undercut the trim around the door frames. This cutting wheel has a diamond coating on it's edge so it doesn't look like a regular wood saw blade. I did use it with the RotoZip flush cutting attachment and wore gloves for safety in case of kickback. The blade made clean cuts, I found it best to proceed slowly and let the tool do the work.

The unique carbide edge cuts a variety of wood materials including but not limited to pine, plywood, OSB, oak, wood paneling, and laminate flooring. Allows for flush cutting and standard cut off applications up to 3/4''. Maximum recommended thickness for hard woods is 1/2'' and for softer woods, pine, plywood, OSB is 3/4''. Cuts over 100' of laminate flooring. Must be used with X Shield guard. 1 per pack. 3/8'' arbor.Ideal for professionals and home improvement enthusiasts, the RotoZip XW-WD1 Wood-Cutting XWheel makes easy cuts in both hard and soft woods. In fact, this wheel allows for flush cutting and standard cut-off applications in all wood materials up to 3/4-inch thick (maximum recommended thickness for hardwoods is 1/2 inch).
Use this convenient tool to cut through plywood and underlayment, and then make smooth cuts in ready-to-install linoleum or wood flooring. Built to last, the XW-WD1 will power through over 100 linear feet of laminate flooring.
