This is my first jeweler's saw, and it was certainly inexpensive. I found the saw to be quite tricky to use - the way the clamps hold the blades in place makes it difficult to load the tiny things without bending them, and the top clamp aggravates the problem by not holding the frame particularly square or sturdy.

The blades themselves are quite fragile, as expected, and dull quickly - I went through three blades just doing three 1/8" cuts through 'white metal' (the soft alloy used instead of pewter for miniature figurines these days).

That said, it did the job, and I couldn't have sawed through these with razorblades (simply too much material), and nippers/cutters squeeze and deform the metal so much that they're useless for close-up work. Even so, I relied on the cutters to clean up and even finish the cuts I was able to make with the saw, which was disappointing.
